Depression

Taking the first step to overcoming depression is often the hardest part. Hopelessness, sleep disturbance, thoughts of harming oneself, fatigue, and a loss of interest in doing things you once loved are warning signs of depression.

Whether or not you are currently taking an antidepressant, clinical studies have proven that talk therapy, EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapies have been can greatly reduce depression.

I will provide a safe place for you to talk about your past, your present, and your fears/hopes for the future. We will dissect the negative, destructive thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you from feeling better, and you will strive to replace them with realistic, more adaptive ones. There is hope!
